I put my hands in clay for the first time digging in a stream behind my childhood home. I crafted a small statue that melted in the next strong rain. During my time at HACC in the 80s, Pottery I and II seemed an obvious choice as an arts elective. Clay has been a part of my life ever since, and my work has taken many turns.
