Frame
Apply the Emulsion
Follow all directions included with Bostick and Sullivan Kit - this is shortened

Tape paper at corners to table
-
Apply laundry starch to paper (allow to dry overnight)

Moisten the brush with distilled water - pat dry
-
Measure the emulsion into a ceramic dish
-
Dump the emulsion onto the center of the area of the paper you wish to expose based on negative size
-
Use the damp brush to carefully spread the emulsion
-
evenly over the expose area
-
Allow to dry in a dark area (about an hour)
Expose the Paper
Follow all directions included with Bostick and Sullivan Kit - this is shortened

Place negative directly onto the paper with the dry emulsion
-
Carefully place the negative/paper into the frame
-
Take the frame into a brightly sunlit area
-
Watch the emulsion darken (it only takes a few minutes)

Once the emulsion is HALF as dark as you wish the final print, take the frame out of the sun

Remove the paper and begin processing
Process and Wash
Follow all directions included with Bostick and Sullivan Kit - this is shortened

Stop bath: place in first tray with tap water (5 mins)

agitate

Fixer: second tray should have fix solution (5 mins)

agitate
-

Wash: third tray should have fresh tap water (30 mins)

agitate every five mins.

Remove from wash, allow to drip a full minute

hang to dry or place on towels on flat surface
